Pure Nickel Metal 201 N02201/2.4061/N7 Bar/Rod/Wire/Forging/Plate/Strip For High Corrosion Resistance And Outstanding Mechanical Properties
Nickel 201 (UNS N02201/W.Nr. 2.4061) is a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy with a minimum nickel content of 99%. It features a low carbon content (≤0.02%), enhancing its resistance to embrittlement at elevated temperatures. This alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and neutral environments, outstanding performance in caustic alkalis, and good mechanical properties across a wide temperature range. Nickel 201 is highly ductile, making it suitable for cold forming and machining. Common applications include handling sodium hydroxide, producing viscose rayon, manufacturing vinyl chloride monomer, and reactors for fluorine generation. Its melting range is between 1435-1445°C, with a density of 8.9 g/cm³.
