NiCr Alloy Wire Cr20Ni30 is a high-performance electric heating alloy wire, widely used in industrial furnaces, heaters, and other applications. It contains 20% to 21% chromium and 30% to 34% nickel, with a maximum continuous service temperature of 1100°C and a melting point of approximately 1390°C. The alloy has a resistivity of 1.04±0.05 μΩ·m at 20°C, a density of 7.9 g/cm³, and an elongation at rupture of over 20%. It exhibits good oxidation resistance, form stability, ductility, and weldability, making it suitable for various heating applications. Typical applications include solid hot plates, open coil heaters, night-storage heaters, and resistors. The alloy is non-magnetic and has a coefficient of linear expansion of 19×10⁻⁶/°C from 20°C to 1000°C.
